Do teams have to attend the Initial Interview to be eligible for judged awards?

Yes, teams must participate in an Initial Interview to be eligible for Team Judged Awards.
According to rule A203, to be eligible for Team Judged Awards, a team must participate in an Initial Interview.
Additionally, as stated in Section 6: Awards (A), a team who does not attend their Initial Interview is not eligible for awards.
